Well  Folks ...

Sept 27th has come and gone, and now "The '98 Picnic" belongs to the ages.

The weather was overcast and breezy, some might have even called it chilly. A dedicated assortment of determined ex-Toads dawdled in and out, milling around without purpose.  A typically fine organization day event, astutely representative of the genre !

Check out the "AQTD Picnic" event  under the  Previous Events listing on the "News & Social Calendar" geek-page !

For those still wondering when and where where the picnic is supposed to be,  here's the info :

Sunday,  27  September  1998

The Plot Continues...

As you may recall, in the last episode, AQTD closed its Bldg. 1820 corporate doors once and for all on 30 Sept 1996, commonly referred to as the "Demise of Aqua Toad".

One year later, in 1997, various affiliated refugees held the first annual picnic to commemorate this event, at the Rosamond community park.  It worked out reasonably well.

Indeed, another year has again passed :

Announcing the 2nd Annual "Demise of AQTD" Picnic

- Sunday, 27th Sept  1998 -
- Starting around Noonish -
- Rosamond, CA  town park -
- "Bring your own Goodies" -

Take this reunion opportunity to socialize with fellow long-lost ex- AEFA / Edwards has-beens, and hear each others' versions of how much fun it's really been since last time !

The scheduled event date also allows those pilot-folks attending the SETP Symposium earlier that same week to drop on by afterwards, once their Beverly Hills festivities are concluded.

A barbeque grill will be available, and roasted free Polish Dogs will be provided.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverages and a side dish or some chips to share.
This has now become a do-it-yourself affair, since the "Official Business" & "designated volunteer" system no longer applies.

If you don't much care for free Polish Dogs, better bring along something more substantial for yourself. Beverages will be available for those unfortunates traveling empty-handed.  In case of a real pinch, there does happen to be an Albertson's Supermarket located just 3 blocks away.

Moron the details later, as further planning continues...
